GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED: 

The 2022 Lower West Coast Water Supply Plan Update (2022 LWC Plan Update) will assess current and projected water needs in the LWC Planning Area through 2045. The LWC Planning Area includes Lee County and portions of Collier, Glades, Hendry, Monroe, and Charlotte counties. Meeting content will include updates on public water supply in the LWC from the Director of the Cape Coral Utilities Department, an overview of the draft 2022 LWC Plan Update, and next steps in the process. The most recent LWC Plan Update was approved in 2017. The 2022 LWC Plan Update is scheduled to be completed by November 2022. 

One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this meeting. No Governing Board action will be taken.

The agenda will be posted online on the LWC Plan Update webpage at https://www.sfwmd.gov/our-work/water-supply/lower-west-coast seven days prior to the meeting.
