GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED:
This in-person workshop will bring together key stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions, share insights, and provide early feedback on the 2025 update for the Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan (Plan), with a focus on the counties in the Kissimmee River Basin, including Highlands, Okeechobee, Polk, Osceola, and Orange counties. The workshop will also serve as an opportunity to explore valuable tools, resources, and information, including the latest Resilient Florida Program updates from the State of Florida, and to ensure the Plan update reflects the diverse needs and priorities of our local communities.
All interested stakeholders and the public are invited to attend and participate in this workshop.
One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this workshop. No Governing Board action will be taken.
