GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED:
The South Florida Water Management District is committed to enhancing regional coordination and reinforcing partnership opportunities by holding proactive discussions, leveraging technical knowledge, and exchanging information. This is a forum to engage partners on expanding understanding about the impacts of changing climate conditions on water resources and fostering a constructive environment to discuss tangible asset level solutions.
During this forum, there will be a break to host an open house session to discuss how Local Mitigation Strategies and resiliency planning efforts align with implementing flood mitigation and adaptation strategies. The Open House will be held in the B-1 Lobby and in-person attendees will have the opportunity to view examples of successful projects and connect, network and exchange valuable information on planning and project implementation with professionals involved in local flood mitigation and resiliency planning efforts. The forum will then resume with its meeting agenda.
One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this forum. No Governing Board action will be taken.
