GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE DISCUSSED:
A draft 2022 SFWMD Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan (SFWMD Resiliency Plan) will be presented. This effort builds upon the 2021 SFWMD Resiliency Plan by including additional resiliency initiatives and new recommended strategies based on public and stakeholder feedback. The 2022 SFWMD Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan includes comprehensive list of priority resiliency projects with the goal of increasing community and ecosystem resiliency to flooding, sea level rise, and other climate change impacts throughout South Florida. This meeting is for planners and water managers from local governments, water control districts and other partner agencies. The meeting is open to the public.
One or more members of the Governing Board of the South Florida Water Management District may attend this workshop. No Governing Board action will be taken.
