This public meeting will present the Central and Southern Florida (C&SF) Flood Resiliency Study – Broward Basins being advanced by the SFWMD with support from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Broward County, and technical/federal assistance from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Jacksonville District, for inclusion in the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) 2026, utilizing Section 203 of the WRDA of 1986.
The goal of this study is to develop, evaluate, and recommend flood risk management measures and adaptation strategies that provide flood resiliency in the most vulnerable areas served by the C&SF system, now and in the future.
