SFWMD Boat Locks Will Temporarily Close Due to Potential Tropical Cyclone One

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) plans to close the following boat locks today, Friday, June 3, to ensure public safety as Potential Tropical Cyclone One impacts portions of southern and central Florida this weekend.
- The S-310 boat lock in Clewiston will close at 9pm
- The G-36, S-127, S-131, S-135 and S-193 boat locks on Lake Okeechobee will close at 6pm
- The S-61, S-65, S-65A, S-65D and S-65E boat locks on the Kissimmee River will close at 9pm
All locks will re-open once they are deemed safe for public access.
