C-17 Canal in North Palm Beach Reopened to Boat Traffic
Oct. 30, 2017
A section of the C-17 Canal in North Palm Beach has been reopened to navigation at the U.S. 1 bridge north of Northlake Boulevard.
The canal had been closed in this area for a week and a half as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) removed debris from a partial collapse of the bridge on Wednesday, Oct. 18. The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) assisted FDOT, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Village of North Palm Beach with the canal closure so repair work could be conducted.
