West Palm Beach, FL – The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has unveiled its new YouTube channel, entitled SFWMD TV. This new website further expands the public's ability to learn more about what SFWMD is doing to manage water and protect 8.1 million residents from flooding.
"Educating and keeping the public informed is a crucial piece of our mission at the District," said SFWMD Chairman Federico Fernandez. "This Board wants to provide as many different channels as possible for the public to access information and learn more about our work and the accomplishments that impact their everyday lives."
SFWMD TV already contains more than two dozen videos produced by SFWMD staff for the public on topics ranging from who to call during a flood to progress on the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Storage Reservoir.
