JUPITER, Fla.- The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) recently completed upgrades, in partnership with the Town of Jupiter, to make one of the most popular fishing spots in northern Palm Beach County more accessible to the public.
"South Florida Water Management District protects thousands of acres of public land on behalf of South Floridians and the state's precious water resources. Part of this stewardship includes finding unique ways to both protect our water resources and encourage public recreation," said Drew Bartlett, executive director of the South Florida Water Management District. "Floridians and visitors gain a new appreciation for protecting our natural resources when they are able to enjoy them for themselves."
