The S-61 navigation lock, also known as the Southport Lock, is returning to service. The S-61 enables boating navigation between Lake Tohopekaliga and Cypress Lake via the C-35 Canal in Osceola County.

Service will begin at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24. The navigation lock's normal operating hours will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the week, and 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the weekend.
