The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), “the Coordinating Agencies" are hosting a public workshop to share information and solicit public input on the Northern Everglades and Estuaries Protection Program (NEEPP).
The purpose of NEEPP is to protect and restore surface water resources and achieve and maintain compliance with water quality standards in the Northern Everglades. The Northern Everglades watersheds include the Lake Okeechobee watershed and the Caloosahatchee and St. Lucie River watersheds.
