The Indian River Lagoon South Project employs a regional approach to restore the southern portion of the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Lucie Estuary. It includes multiple components that will work together to provide significant water quality improvements.
When complete, the project will provide a total of 170,000 acre-feet of combined storage in new reservoirs and stormwater treatment areas, and an additional 92,000 acres of natural storage and water quality areas.
The Indian River Lagoon South Project is part of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan (CERP) which was authorized by Congress in the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) of 2007.
We look forward to your participation and strongly encourage your attendance.
