As part of the State of Florida’s efforts to identify and implement cost-effective strategies to protect the state's water resources while meeting Florida’s water needs.

Join the South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) for several upcoming public meetings. SFWMD is conducting the majority of public meetings online or by teleconference to protect our communities from the potential spread of COVID-19. The public can watch and participate in these meetings using Zoom, a free online meeting tool.
Recent rains and efforts by residents to conserve water have resulted in increased water levels.
The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is rescinding the current District-issued irrigation restrictions for residential and landscape, golf course, recreational and agricultural water users in Lee County. Irrigation restrictions by local cities and Lee County still apply.
